I have put together a free ebook for you to enjoy, 5 amazing fruit crumble and crisps. Making it easy for you to download and print off, enabling you to have these recipes close at hand.
What recipes are included?
Find 3 recipes already up on the blog plus two extras that are only available in the ebook.
The first recipe is…
1. Strawberry Custard Shortbread Crumble
I love this crumble recipe it is very different from your typical crumbles. The topping firms up just like shortbread making this crumble amazing to eat when cold.
This recipe does look like it has a lot of elements making it a lot of work to make but if you break it down this recipe is actually very easy to make.
Find the recipe here on the blog.
2. Blueberry Cardamom Crisp
Blueberries make amazing fruit crumbles and crisps, they have such a beautiful delicate flavour that isn’t too sweet or tart.
The cardamom topping adds a lot to this crisp too, with the cardamom complimenting the blueberries instead of over powering them. Now I know there are some who aren’t fans of cardamom but I would highly recommend giving this recipe a try.

3. Classic Apple fruit crumble
You can’t have a fruit crumble recipe book without including a classic, and that for me is an apple crumble.
Of course this recipe has to include cinnamon, it wouldn’t be an apple crumble if it didn’t. But unlike most fruit crumble recipes this one includes oats and nuts, this is to add more texture to the topping.
If you check out the blog post here you can see which apples I recommend using, it makes a big difference to the end result.
4. Mixed Fruit crumble
This is the first bonus recipe only found in the ebook.
This recipe is packed full of flavour despite being the simplest recipe I have included.
The main focus is in the fruit and the amazing flavour that comes from the mixed berries.
You can use fresh fruit but the recipe calls for a frozen mixed berry fruit blend making it a very easy recipe to throw together.
The topping is very simple with no additional spices making it a great choice for children.
5. Honey Peach Coconut Crisp
This is the last recipe in the book and another recipe that you will find only in the ebook.
Unlike the recipe above this recipes highlight is the coconut topping, if you like coconut this recipe is for you. This is a gluten free low sugar recipe, and it can easily be transformed into a vegan dessert too.
Peaches tend to be quite mild and not sweet enough according to my husband, so the honey really brings out their flavour. I find honey works better than sugar for this. You could also use agave if you want to make it vegan.
The topping is all about the coconut. The shredded coconut adds texture and the coconut sugar adds a light sweetness. You can also up the coconut factor by using coconut oil in place of the butter this will make the topping vegan.
